If there’s one Place in Luzon that I really
wanted to check out ever since, that would definitely be Baguio. Known as the
summer capital of the Philippines Baguio is the perfect holiday destination for
Pinoys who wanted to unwind and escape from the caliente summer in this
tropical country.
Due to the city's popularity on TV and
Cinema everything completely looked so familiar to me; it’s as if I’ve been to
Baguio many times.
Although it was not summer when we headed to
Baguio there were still a lot of tourist both local and foreign. I guess it’s
not just about its cold weather that drives people to flock to this city; it’s
also roughly because of its culture and the hospitality of its people. In 2010
Baguio got included to the Ten Most Popular Places in the Philippines list by a
Travel American Website.
I know this maybe so cliché but the very
first thing I noticed about Baguio is its cold weather. After all Baguio
wouldn't be Baguio without its unique distinctive cold weather. After my Baguio
Adventure I feel so enlightened because now I was able corroborate that indeed
Baguio is colder than Brgy. Buda in Marilog District, Davao City.
