Palabok

Ingredients
1 pack (1 lb) rice noodles (bihon)
Sauce:
5 cloves of garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 lb ground pork
1 tablespoon of fish sauce
2 tablespoons of atchuete seeds
1 piece shrimp cube
4 tablespoons of cornstarch, dissolved in water
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 1/2 cups of water
2 tsp ground black pepper
Toppings
Cooked shrimps, shelled
½ cup Pork chicharon, grounded
2 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped
Cooking Procedure:

In a pan, heat the cooking oil and sauté the garlic and onion.
- Add the ground pork and cook for 10
minutes or until the pork turns brown.
- Add the 1 ½ of water and the dissolved
“atsuete” .Let it boil.
- Add the dissolved cornstarch and a piece
of shrimp cube and fish sauce.
- Add 2 tsp ground black pepper
- Wait until sauce becomes thick.
Set aside.
- Add the rice noodles (Soaked for about
15 mins.)
- Garnish with the toppings
