Original Pancit Bihon Recipe

Birthday celebrations here in the Philippines wouldn’t be special without sumptuous banquets and when we talk of birthday banquets, definitely the star of this this is Filipino's all-time favourite, Pancit Bihon. This Filipino Stir-fried noodle is basically made of rice noodles stuffed with pork and vegetables.


Ingredients
1 lbs. uncooked rice noodle
2 cups sliced mixed vegetables: cabbage, carrots, bell pepper.
1/2 lb. chicken (Sliced)
½ cup oil
1 onion, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 tbsp garlic, minced
1 piece chicken cube
3 cups water
Shrimp

Cooking Procedure
1.) Soak the Rice Noodles in water for about 11 minutes.
2.) Sauté the garlic and onion in a large pot.
3. Add the chicken and shrimp, let it simmer.
4.) Add the vegetables and let it cook for 5-8 minutes.
5.) Add the drain rice noodles, add some soy sauce. Salt and Pepper to taste. (Covered for 4 minutes).

  Serve it hot!
